The ANS Bursary Scheme

All members are able to apply for funding towards the costs for meetings, either ANS or other conferences.  The bursary may be considered for assistance with the cost of travel, registration fees and/or accommodation for Scientific Meetings/courses relevant to the field of Neurophysiology. These do not have to be in the UK.

Applicants applying for assistance with costs to attend an ANS meeting, or other events of relevance to the field of Neurophysiology, will be expected to present a paper or case study at that meeting and also agree to write this up for publication in the Journal of the Association of Neurophysiological Scientists (JANS).

Applications will be considered in January and July. The total sum available for the bursary will be £1,000 per annum awarded at the panel’s discretion. It would be usual for any bursary award to be a maximum of 75% of the expected final costs, with the remaining fees funded from other sources (including self-funding).

There are some conditions that need to be met.  If you are interested in applying for a bursary then download the Bursary Scheme Rules and the Application form.
